Frost & Bloom Art + Designs is a reflection of the deep belief that art serves as a remedy for an unruly world—inspiring transformation, enhancing our homes as our sanctuaries, and reminding us to laugh and not always take ourselves so seriously. The brand provides a creative rescue from the generic and the mass-produced. We seek to bridge the gap between fine art and everyday living, empowering everyone to find their 'soul-piece' at accessible price points.

 

Our founder, Catherine Mellon, built this brand from a unique intersection. After a decade as an online business coach, she left to pursue art—a move that was her soul’s calling and exponentially more rewarding. She watched 2020 change the way people buy art but she also saw how many brilliant, non-gallery artists were being left unseen, simply because they didn't know how to connect in a digital-first world.

 

Frost & Bloom is the answer: a platform built on her two great passions—the soulful power of art and the ‘it takes a village’ approach to building something grand.

 

Through our online gallery and pop-up, in-person galleries, we are on a mission to help Canadians break up with faceless, multinational big-box purchasing. We are truly connecting locals with artists living right next door, encouraging them to put their money back into their own communities, and stop spending hard-earned dollars in other countries.
